“Move Along, Mackenzie” follows Max, a Midwestern freelance photographer, over the course of one unexpectedly eventful summer. Reeling from a break up with her fiancé, and the sudden death of her Gram’s, Mackenzie is forced to return to Biddleton, Missouri to sort out her grandmother’s various affairs. Stuck in her own version of hell, ostracized from her family over the details of a shocking inheritance, and finding herself with no home to return to, Max moves herself into her grandmother’s house and learns that for several of her former classmates, some things will never change. Her life uncertain, and upside down, she discovers that the only thing keeping her from finding a new happiness in a familiar place, and a new love with an old crush, is her.
